Took delivery of my Canadian one just like this minus the tonneau on the 21st also adding the tow plate which model are you getting and if blue ox are you modifying the front or going with FX4 lower fascia?

Thanks, I'm trying to convince my wife. She's concerned about visibility at night. My other cars are tinted all around and its fine.

I was leaning towards Roadmaster and have wondered if Blue Ox would work with the FX4 lower as I don't want any visible cuts. Have you seen this done? Also, Demco is about to release a plate that does't require cutting so I'm going to wait and see what that looks like.

I was going to dive into a leveling kit (1" front lift) but learned pretty quick that's not a good idea given the axle angle issues. Would like to drop the rear about 3/4 but not sure how, short of spring clamps.

There is no known way to drop the rear only on these trucks as of yet. Nobody makes just a rear 1" or 3/4" drop spring. I wouldn't recommend spring clamps. Drop the whole truck, these lil trucks look so good lowered!

I have the Blue Ox on order and did see a thread on here were someone had used the FX4 fascia apparently a very slight modification is needed as the fascia doesn't attach the same The blue ox is out of stock everywhere in Canada so i'm 4 to 6 weeks out. I really don't want to have ot cur anything but the air damper modification scares me more than cutting plastic. Just finished getting LineX and mounting hard roll up sentry tonneau and added black raised lettering

I do the majority of my driving during the day and with the sun being so brutal I appreciate the difference the tinting makes. Tell her about the UV protection for her skin

Congrats on great looking Mav, I have the same in Carbonized Gray for the last two months and really impressed with all aspects of this truck. Have fun, worth the wait.

Picked mine up on Monday. Same color, BAP, etc. Love it! 10 months was worth the wait!
