I just shared as the joke I did with the dealership salesman. Somehow it switched to headlight aiming. Perhaps some did not read I was discussing towing and weight loads with salesman and I sent photo. My apologies if I started a Y on this post. This is exactly why I rarely share anything in this group.

Last year when I was at the dealership taking delivery of my Maverick. The salesman and I were talking about the tow package on the truck. Well I mentioned I was taking the Maverick in to have a fifth wheel installed in the bed. His jaw dropped, not knowing I was joking with him. So I one day I saw a large trailer in a parking lot and pulled up next to it to take this joke photo to send the salesman.

Quick fix of the shadow - absolutely "real photo" of Maverick with 5th wheel attached!

You're presumably asking for feedback about putting heavy stuff in the bed.

When you do, and drive at night, you NEED to adjust your headlamps. These new headlamps "project" like laser beams. They are very focused. Not diffuse like older ones. There's very little "play" to the angle.

With just a few hundred pounds in the bed (or any trailer attached) your headlamps will "project" into outer space.

They won't illuminate the road in front of you. They will blind other drivers. They may blind your night vision when they bounce off overhead signs back into your face.

Ask me how I know...

Looks good!! I noticed the shadows not lining up after I took the photo. If I remove the trailer jacks it would also be an additional plus to make it look real.
