Just installed my Truxport bed cover today. I've had one on my Toyota Tundra for 6 years now and even though it's faded and showing some wear, it's still leak free.

Installation was easy but time consuming making sure it's centered and even. I think it could have been and inch or two longer and even a half an inch wider. I'm not that confident it will be as leak free as my Tundra that had more overlap. I'm also wondering if water is going to pool against the cab or will just seep back into the bed. Might get a little more rain this week so I'll find out then.

So that's the $309.00 one? There's also the Pro X (i think that's what it's called) for $559.00 and the Lo Pro for $449.00 . Was just looking at Auto Any thing and those caught my eye. Also saw that Shop Ford has 15% off on theirs.

I have the same one waiting for my truck to get here mid January sometime, I hope. Along with a few other things. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Well, we got a little rain last night and there was water in the front of the bed this morning. Surprisingly dry at the tailgate, but water was leaking down from the cab through the foam seal. The foam seal is only contacting the front of the bed about a 1/4 inch and I can't move it back without leaving a gap at the tailgate. It really is too short.

I'll have to find a rubber seal or start parking nose forward in my driveway.

I have seen a few other reviews that said the Truxedo Truxport was to short. It's to bad as that's the one I was going to get. The odd thing is I think Truxedo list the bed as 4.4 inch for the Maverick when it's actually 4.5. I hope you guys that have this cover are letting Truxedo know it's to short. Maybe by the time I get my hybrid they will have this issue fixed.

It's a lot of compromises. The worst parts are giving up visibility over traffic and the wonderful sound of that V8. (I have the TRD exhaust) I also miss not having to back down when idiots try to cut the line or cut me off.

What I don't miss is the $80-90 weekly fill ups, trying to find a parking spot, and paying $1400 for a set of tires. With the crazy used car market I can probably sell my Tundra for good price as well. Earlier this year I sold my Cadillac ATS-V for $5k more than I bought it for.

I don't go offroading anymore except for dirt fireroads that the Maverick can easily handle and I won't be able to load bikes in the bed like before. But it's worth it when I realize that I've had the Maverick for 2 weeks and I still haven't had to go to the gas station.

I have a bike rack that goes into the receiver that tilts down to access the back of my Explorer. This would free up bed space for your gear.

I'm thinking of getting the soft roll-up Truxport cover. The OP's pictures answered some of my questions, and it looks like it's perfect with a drop-in liner and the rail management system.

Can Roll Bars be installed later and still use this cover?
