Bakflip Mx4 how to fix rubber piece ?

Been using Bakflip Mx4 on my Maverick Hybrid without issues
up until few snowstorms and icy rain this year and then this is what I have now:
Any suggestions on how to fix this ?

Never seen something like that before. Tried googling it a whole bunch but still couldnt find it. I would guess its moisture/cold related. Could try a heating it up to see if it relaxes. If that doesnt work, I'd contact bakflip about it though since they do replacement parts. If not that, find some rubber trim on amazon and some proper 2 sided tape and redo the seal.

I've never seen anything like that on a Bakflip. How old is it? Before I did anything to try and fix it I'd give them a call or email with picture.

I'm sorry to see that this has happened to your MX4. It could very likely be due to the extreme weather exposure. The side seals are replaceable, though. They're available on our website. BAK Replacement Cover Seals Feel free to PM me if you have any questions about the part.

Those should be covered by the 5-year MX4 warranty, right?
