Hey Tim - thanks for the Maverick information as always. I have an idea for a Maverick Monday video for you - could you do one about how to customize settings for remote start? I'd love to have my seat warmers NOT turn on full blast, maybe 1 out of 3 or not at all. Is that possible?

I am sure this would take a lot to get done, but I think everyone would like the ability to control temperature and floor/vent/defrost settings from phone also. Especially those of us in climates that have variable weather from one day to the next.

Q. Are vehicles bodies batch built based on color? I assume there would be a run of greens, run of blues, etc. wondering what the cycle time is to change colors in the booth(s) ? For the sheet metals, is there a different run color every few days? Guessing certain colors will be out before others.

No they are painted in another area than where they are assembled. For this reason they will assemble green along with black, white, whatever color. Also why they can build Bronco Sports and Mavericks on the same line.

Ya, on Ford's promo vid of a Velocity being ɓuilt, there are Broncos there as well..
On painting I have read and seen vids on how they paint ANY color, one right after the next on the paint line...
Q. Can't find an answer:
How long does the paint need to "cure" before the body is good to go on the final assembly line?
