Hello Maverick Owners,

We have considered the storage function of the rear compartment, and in order to secure the goods, we have produced Retractable Ratchet Strap as an accessory. The ratchet straps include a pair.By using the screws of the original car, it can be fixed in the rear compartment. And it can be compatible with the guide rail.

We would like to inquire if there are any Mav owners who have this demand, which determines the quantity we will send to Amazon in the first batch. I hope Mav owners can actively participate. Here are our product images and effect display pictures, including installation videos.

Ultimately, we will determine our shipment quantity based on everyone's demand. Once confirmed, sea shipping will take one month and the estimated arrival time is around mid January.

Can they be mounted to the Lower factory tie down points instead of the upper tie down points? I would need them mounted at the lower tie down points in my use cases. Like the concept!

I agree, I use my auto retracting ratchet straps a lot in my bed, but usually its to hold lumber down to the half raised tailgate. They need to be lower than that point for tension. I would love not having to go into the truck and get then all the time, and just have ther there, but the height is not functional for my main usages.

Just buy a quality stainless ratchet strap, and leave it in the bed.

I think you have a good idea here. As stated above, the ratchets need to be mounted lower for them to be useful, unless you're carrying stuff that is taller than the bedside. It's not something I need, as I don't haul stuff a lot, but it's a cool product. :like:

Yeah.We will also try to discuss with the R&D personnel about the expansion band that fixes the lower point position.

Is there a high demand for using automatic strapping from the bottom position?

I'd like to see how it would look. If it integrates well, Id be interested. Would also like to know if it could be installed and/or remain installed with a tailgate extender.

IMO , Yes. I know I would be a purchaser. I would like to have them mounted on the back and front factory tie down points in the bed.

If they attached to the lower point, or were lower in the box, AND out of the way of the tailgate opening so that they didnt interfer with a full width item being put into the box like a sheet of plywood, I would strongly consider. I would also think that if the attachment was donw by thumbscrews or slots or something so they were quick disconnect without tools, that would be amazing. You could leave them in all the time, but when you need to load loose barkmulch or something, you could easily remove them.
