2025 Maverick Anyone get Scheduled 11/14/2024

Houston, we have modules!! I checked my modules yesterday, and there was only 3 or 4 lines of data at the top. Nothing under PCM or BCE Modules.

I checked this morning and saw the below. BCE Modules are populated but PCMs aren't. I also clicked on the "Download File" and the file I got today had hundreds of lines of modules (or some hexadecimal values) on it.

That's progress!!

I've got a "In Production" date of 11/21 and when I put my VIN in to check the modules and I also have BCE modules so I guess it really was built.

Yes you should. Ordering a vehicle shouldn't be this difficult. There is no reason we should have to wait that long. Ford is Trash.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or serious. I heard an analyst describing why Nike is in trouble right now, and it's a little related. Nike had the hottest shoes out there a few years ago, and their CEO flooded the market and made a killing...short term. One problem with flooding the market is you can diminish the value of something quickly, which they did.

The analyst pointed out how Rolex sometimes withholds production and intentionally creates a "shortage" in supply, and that helps keep its value up. Not saying Mavericks are Rolexes (though they probably cost about the same ), but Ford might be doing themselves a favor by not flooding the market with Mavericks.

Might be doing us a favor too. Last time I checked, Carvana offered me $24k for a '22 Hybrid XLT Maverick with 41k miles on it. I paid $26k out the door for mine, and 2.5 years & 41k miles later I can get almost what I paid for it. I probably could get $26k if I sold it to a private party.

my ford app is showing my 25 maverick is ready to pair up, so the truck is definitely built but the tracking hasn’t move since the 14. I’m wondering what’s the hold up the 25 are stacking up at the factory for sure.

I'm wondering 3 things. Backup camera issue, battery deep sleep issue, and EPA certification.

I think is is The epa since there not a window sticker, the camera and deep sleep is a 22-24 problem imo

Yes but if there is no fix yet for those years, how can they fix the 25's? Just something I'm guessing at.

I'll be, I just added my VIN and sure enough it came up ready to be paired. Didn't Farley say they were holding back for 4 to 6 weeks to make sure of quality?

Is Ford holding these vehicles at the assembly plant? If they find a problem then what? Assembly plants aren't the place to fix a major issue. A six week hold would be over 15,000 vehicles. As a retired autoworker I've never seen a repair area in an assembly plant that was big enough to handle this many repairs.

That's my thought wouldn't it become a big snowball event. They find a big issue. Stop the assembly line. Fix all those vehicles. Implement the fix into the assembly and then restart the line while trying to make up the lost time and backlog.

I'd much rather have any problem fixed by a trained Ford technician at a dealership. Assembly plants are just that.......assembly.
