Has anyone had this TSB-24-2317 done to their Maverick. I'm just wondering if it helped with the dash rattles. Thinking about taking mine in this week or next see if it helps mine

My truck also has temperature-dependent dash rattles in hot or cold weather. In fact, I was going to order a 2025 and sell my '23 when the '25 came in, due to the rattles. That is, until I saw the awful changes they made to the 25 model year. Now, I just turn up the sound system to drown out the rattles.I had it done this week, I had already scheduled an appointment for the issue a month or so ago and thankfully the TSB came out before the appointment. So far there seems to be a significant improvement, but it's hard to say for sure as mine was intermittent, depending on temp I think. Appointment was also for deep sleep issue but that fix won't come until 2025.
Tightening the left knob on the radio will fix most rattle or squeak problems, don't even need a wrench to snug it up.My truck also has temperature-dependent dash rattles in hot or cold weather. Hopefully the TSB will address these annoyances.
It’s so disappointing - 600 miles on the odometer it’s infuriatingContacting my dealer on Monday. My dash rattles non stop when the road is rough, so I will be a good test case. Will let you know how it goes.

There is also a TBS for that. I'm going Tuesday morning to get both done. Also, has Ford found a fix for the loose left rear tail light yet?No.. my only rattle is the rear seat back... I think I'll see about that new locking mechanism they have for it... it can get a bit intense on occasion... And sometimes my wife and I want to have a conversation and not try to drown out the rattles with the radio...![]()
That’s like playing Russian roulette. Good news I fixed the rattle bad news you have a new rattle. Mine doesn’t seem to rattle from the ends. Mine rattles above the glove box where that part of dash has the torx head screws. The other rattle is the sunglasses holder above the dash. This just went out to Ford dealers, I wonder if they have even had a chance yet. I wouldn't want to be the first person to get it done at a dealer!
I'm sad to say that after having TSB-24-2317 applied on Tuesday, Nov 12, 2024, that my rattle got worse!
Prior to the service, the dash had more of a "buzzing" rattle going over bumps. After the service, not only is the "buzzing" rattle still present, but it seems a new "knocking" type rattle has emerged (sounds like from where bottom of windshield meets dash). I thought it might "settle" itself in a few days, but it hasn't yet. I did mention this to the dealer, but haven't scheduled to take it back in just yet.
Disclaimer: Despite the rattle, I'm still enjoying my 2024 Hybrid Lariat Maverick and happy I made the purchase.
Mine rattles around the glove box as well. I started to notice it about a month ago. I'll have to check the torx screws. That’s like playing Russian roulette.
