Courtesy delivery: we order the vehicle & add a drop ship code to have it shipped to a dealer you find will do CD for you…a lot of dealers do them…typically you will need to find a dealer with a fleet department…we do them all the time for other dealers…once you find a dealer that will do one, you will need to negotiate the cost with them (typically $200-$500 for PDI, gas, clean, etc) that you will owe to handle the CD…once you are ok with that, get their drop ship code & we add to the order at previewing…

Side note…we require a deposit for customers who want a drop ship…the deposit amount is non-refundable & is used to cover the cost of shipping to us in the event you don’t take delivery (remember we still own the vehicle, not the drop ship dealer)…once the vehicle is previewing to schedule, I confirm with you the order & the drop ship…I then run a uship.com quote from the drop ship dealer to my dealership & that is the amount I will collect…once the vehicle schedules, that is the point of no return, & I can’t change the drop ship if you change your mind…when you do take delivery, the deposit comes off the amount due…

hope that exclaims the process…I have several maverick customers doing them already

Courtesy drop is term use by the Chapman dealership which essentially a participating dealership willing to be the drop off location and willing to do the final leg of the paperwork like registering the truck and setting up financing with Ford. They will be charging a few for this service of course but I have not found a dealership who would like to participate
when u call a dealer, ask for the fleet manager…sales managers don’t want to be bothered with them

That is my understanding too! I mean we're so close to Mexico, we should be getting better deals. Just sucks we gotta pay premium here and be excluded to the perks other members are enjoying.

I have a ordered my truck locally but still seeking to see if anyone actually made contact with a dealership willing to participate.
your closest port of entry is San YSidro for trucks coming out of Mexico, right? Hermosillo is located due south of Nogales on Texas border. I saw a map posted recently and IIRC rough calculation was Hermosillo was about 180 miles to TX border. I'm guessing Ford would send trucks straight to Nogales port of entry, and then disburse across USA rather than transit Mexico side with gangs, corruption, etc. I could be wrong on their methods, but I know which way I would go :p

I have done that but no luck. Granted I haven't called every last dealership in a 50 mile radius! The whole concept of calling dealerships and asking if they accept "Our Lord Jesus Christ as our savior" I mean if they do courtesy drop is kinda not my thing. Lol

Don't have any clue at all about Ford's logistics. All I want is the 4% for my truck!

Maverick previewing/scheduling starts this coming week...

We earned 19 for wholesale
Tom
I did an order with you early in the process. If I wanted to change the order (XLT to Lariat) when do I need to do so to be on the safe side (i.e. change it before it can't be changed)?

Thanks
p.s. what does "earned 19 for wholesale mean", that you've gotten 19 orders or that you are being allotted 19 for your own non-customer order book?

I just sent an email to price out possible changes: Lariat Hybrid, coPilot 360, lux pkg, Sunroof, Console Vault, CYBER ORANGE o_O (which I will either love or hate)
