No issue with trash accumulating or sticking there at all.
Coming up on 3 years of ownership (got truck in December 2021).

At the very least expense, I'm wondering if a shop brush would be enough to sweep away the pine needle debris. Good luck.

Quit parking under or next to the pine tree.

I know it's frustrating; but this is going to happen no matter what type of tonneau/truck combination you have. Either avoid parking under that tree; or invest in a leaf blower or brush to clean it.

I think I’ll try something with a pool noodle or closed cell baker rod. At the same time I’m afraid for moisture to be trapped and cause a bigger problem
