I ordered a BAP Lariat swapped the headlights and sold the BAP one
Back when you could sell new cars for the same or more than retail
I partially ordered it just in case my truck got wrecked (seemed like in 22 lots of peoples truck were getting totaled and couldn’t replace them with new ones)

Sold it to a dealer
Also swapped the fender vents
Didn’t swap the tail lights because I prefer the all red look of mine

My truck’s 2 year birthday came and went without me realizing
I still have not worked on the black headliner
I still have not reshaped the dash speaker grills
I need to readjust the front ride height as the springs have settled making the front lower than the rear
I just have been having a hard time getting motivated to do anything to it
Also need to get some loctite for the custom rear camber arms (drivers side keeps moving) which to be fair was suggested before I installed them so I’m the slacker
Added to the list of things to do is get a new battery for the front and add one to the rear
The audio system needs a bit more juice at times

Another I washed it post
Got new tires (again….. though one of them was an original from the Area 51 truck I had before this)

Also I was able to turn off auto start stop using Forscan but when @Joshick91 came over to do the same I couldn’t remember what change I made
I have a feeling it’s a change in the APIM which he doesn’t have and I keep getting an error when I try to get into the APIM so I couldn’t check
Maybe someone with a Lariat Lux can check
It became an option when I updated Forscan a few months ago
Gorgeous rides  Thanks for sharing!

Pulled it into the garage last night with the intention of giving it some love
Need to raise the front slightly and check the rear camber arms to make sure they are still tight
Sort of was thinking I could start on the black headliner

So far I’ve taken two naps on the couch and eaten 3 cookies

It may not happen today
But it’s a long weekend so who knows

Ok 2 out of 3 ain’t bad
Raised the front back up another 1/2 inch
The front is so sensitive…. If you are slightly too low you bottom out super easy… I had it set perfect before the springs settled
Now we are back to good
Rear is half inch taller than the front which seems appropriate
One of these years I’ll get to see my truck rolling at speed
Fixed the camber arm, now tires show the same on both sides (drivers wasn’t loose but it was way out)
The adjustment wouldn’t turn making me think I didn’t cut it short enough but as soon as I unbolted it I was able to turn it to where it needed to be

Didn’t start on the headliner….. but I will need to get that done before my daughter gets her license in a few weeks
Right now we have an extra car
I predict I won’t be able to get the headliner project done in one day

Dirty truck pics following (it’s going to rain later today and through the week so I’m not bothering with it)

29.5ish front
30ish rear
Would love for them to be exactly the same but I’m a lazy perfectionist

Pretty sure my tires are same overall height as stock
Hold on let me Google….
Weird…. Internet can’t agree unless they are measuring tires without load on them
Says tires are 28.7 tall vs stock at 28.5
There is more than an inch of gap more like 2ish
I’ve lost parts of both front liners (a long time ago)
I dislike there isn’t much room for a tire to go into the wheel well past the fender lip
Seems they could have given a little bit of space for the tire to travel

Went to the Hot Wheels Legends Tour stop today
I almost registered for the car show but I didn’t really feel like being stuck there for hours
Ford Maverick volksnuts’ Lariat Maverick build IMG_5627

Scored a bunch of Mavericks during the many Hot Wheels restocks in store (as expected all the “collectors” were pushing and taking all the limited stuff, and by collectors I mean resellers, they were very aggressive)
Luckily for me I only really cared about the Mavericks and most people didn’t want them…. Had real collectors handing them to me when they found them

The Maverick portion of my haul
And here’s my total Maverick collection so far (have not done any customs to replicate my truck yet)
Ford Maverick volksnuts’ Lariat Maverick build IMG_5634

Spotted this one in the parking lot
Has Ranger Splash graphics which I wasn’t mad at
I placed a Maverick Hot Wheel in the bed (I’m sure they already have one since this was a Hot Wheels event)
Is it anyone here?

Someone on one of the Facebook Maverick groups posted a pic of your truck and asked if you had left a HotWheels for them.
