Daza swap maverick?

Just photo shop but would love to have a 5 cylinder in the maverick. Maybe ford brings back the 5 cylinder from the focus rs mk2?

I read that the B5254T3 engine from Volvo was the focus rs mk2 engine. Not sure if this is accurate

Not interested in a 400 hp turbo 5 cyl in my maverick. That would mean needing to change out CV joints every 10k miles instead of the current 20k miles.

Think of the Lamborghini Huracan with the V10 engine….. cut it in half down the middle to get an inline 5, throw a turbo on it and give it a milder cams to only spin 7,000 rpm, while making 400 hp and 390 lb/ft. It even sounds like a baby version of the V10.

Sounds like there needs to be two Mavericks in the family. The working Mav and the fast Mav.

If I could pick any engine that might fit I'd probably look at a turbodiesel or that one W8 engine VW made.
