Hey y'all! I installed my DD fogs yesterday as well as the F150 switch. They work great, I've got them aimed proper and the OEM switch working great. The side fill from them is exactly what I wanted. I'll try and get some pictures up here at some point.

My question is; has anyone figured out how to turn on Bambi mode in the maverick? I found some F150 threads that said that it should be available in the BCM, but I did not see it last night. I also checked the IPC, nothing there either. I did find some AS-BUILT lines that the F150 guys altered, but I'm guessing the Maverick BCM coding is not the same as the F150s.

One of life’s greatest mysteries why they didn’t at least offer a package that included fog lights. They look great, huge L for Ford not offering fogs for the Mav.

Agreed! I assume it's due to them trying to keeps costs down in order to keep the whole truck/manufacturing process cheaper, but at least the option would've been nice. I guess it just left more space for improvement in the next gen, like their choice to not have the screen span the whole dash space haha.

Fortunately, adding them after market wasn't too bad at all. Hardest part was getting the signal wire to the BCM, even then it wasn't too bad after I decided to just cut a slit into the existing grommet. I'm mostly happy with this DD kit.

Also - those cutouts are where FX4 and Tremor recovery hooks sit.

Turns out that the option that I was missing was the following: Using Front Fog With High Beam - "Allowed"

Works perfect. Now, I just need to speak with DD for a warranty claim, as one of my fog lights is pointed far too low within the housing. I have pulled off the bumper again today because maxing out the adjustment screw pulls the plastic nut out of the foglight housing and makes it flop freely. Disappointing. But, I can get the front bumper off in record time now, I guess.

Edit: It was my mistake, I needed to trim the plastic back a bit more. I thought it was fine, but just a few degrees of tilt at the bumper makes a massive difference at distance. For future installers, trim then Gap check, rinse and repeat until the DD trim piece fits flat against the bumper.
