Thanks for sharing. Just based on the notes, looks like you have a great service department!

Thank y'all! I've called the dealership again and got an appointment scheduled for tomorrow. I'm gonna bring up the tsb and hopefully they will just go on ahead and change the fluid and no give me anymore trouble

They are very detailed orientated ,and have master tech,s . Bozard Ford Saint Augustine Florida. Two issues with them ,they are very busy and not cheap. But sales is great and service is fantastic, sometimes I have to wait for an appt a few weeks ,but they always give me a loaner ...this RDU replacement took 6 days ,2 days to get the part ,then when they did axle threads where screwed up soo a new axle had to be ordered

I have a 2022 ecoboost awd. For about a month now, when I turn left or right it makes a groaning noise coming from the rear end. It only has 36000 miles on it and I took it the ford dealer and they said the sound was normal. My thing is it just started making this noise and when I go over bumps while turning the noise gets louder. Has anyone experienced this or is experiencing this?

I've been lost hope for a dealer service department to fix anything.
Try going somewhere without the wife and see if that fixes it. (just kidding)

Does this groaning noise only occur when spouse is in back seat?

So there isn’t a TSB for the Maverick but there is for Escape and Bronco Sport
All I got was a fluid change, did not get a revised vent tube thing
Noise went away but will be listening for it

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.
I've got this same issue and I've got about 54k miles ... is mine out of the power train warranty?

it only recently started getting worse. It used to make noise only on cold mornings, but then progressively became consistent and now it makes it anytime I turn.

Good morning. Go ahead and send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer, and I’ll look into this noise concern.

My Maverick has the same issue. Took in on 2/26. They changed the fluid and got it back 2/28. Drove it over the weekend and the groan is still there. Have a follow up appointment on 3/10.

I know this is a older thread. But I had the same exact problem at around 36000 miles. I took it to the dealer several times telling them it was in the rear diff but they just didn't listen to me or something. Then finally after I felt my tires bind when I was turning. I took it back and they had to order me a new diff. These diffs had no way to change the fluid .at least mine didn't. I can't remember now but there was either no drain plug or fill plug .hell maybe neither one. Anyways I have 106,600 miles on this truck now. And I'm starting to hear another noise from the rear diff. But it's not the same noise. Good luck
