I can bet my Eco boost has a lot less recalls and issues than all those hybrids out there. Only 2 recalls and 0 issues in a year and a half.

First, bet they lost more than 12 Hp. Second, adding backpressure to a Turbo kills HP. Third, particulates from gasoline engines is minimal to non existent compaired to diesels. We are just being pushed into BEV by every means possible.

Yep, it is all over the web. Emissions from fossil fuels cause 7 million deaths per year. That is why petrol particle filters are required in Europe, India, China, Australia and soon in the US as well.

This thread has nothing to do with greenhouse gas emissions. This thread is about smog inducing particulate emissions. They are 2 completely different entities, with different causes, different harms and different solutions.

A lot of people don't consider the cumulative effects of mitigations like this and Auto Start/Stop. They think, "Its 1MPG/12HP, is it really saving the earth?" when the reality is over tens of thousands of cars these little improvements make a big difference.
