Little bit of help. 3d printing/etsy

Hey guys, I asked the seller of this a couple questions and instead of a response I got blocked. Has anyone purchased this and willing to give me the dimensions so I can model it up and print it. Alternatively has anyone found something similar that I can order. I just need it in ASA,ABS or as a last resort petg. I am in Florida and at the time of this posting. As an Etsy seller of 3D printed goods that I design, I can give you some insight as to why you got blocked. I am regularly receiving questions about my equipment, suppliers, for free copies of my designs. I have even had someone commission a design from me, and after putting in a lot of work, they refused to buy the product and asked me to just give them the design files for free so they can have it printed for cheaper. It isn’t the printing that costs the money, it is the hours of design time. Just ask @P99Guy about how long it took us to design our tailgate hole cover. (I learned my lesson from that and no longer do design work, except working with David)
long story short, when you get people asking for certain specs, most of the time it is going to end up being someone wanting something for free and they are just going to waste my time and not lead to a sale. Sometimes it is just easiest to mark the message as spam.
And yes, that may be where I got my user name, and, No, I won’t tell you my Etsy shop.

I don’t sell anything at the moment for the Maverick. My printer won’t print PETG good enough to sell (I won’t sell anything that is not high enough quality that I would give myself 5 stars for, and I am pretty picky) so until I am ready to upgrade my printer, I am staying out of that game.

I used to run a Cr-10s with a hemera, and even then I strongly suggest the bamboo labs. x1c. Does petg really nice and if you're into modding you can get a chamber heater going for some strong materials.

Thanks for the recommendations. I bought my printer after having an old kit printer I did a bad job upgrading for about a decade. It is an ended3 copycat. I bought it on sale and have had none of the problems with it that people complain about. Figured I would buy the upgraded one from the same company, silent steppers, faster printing, better quality prints… so it claimed. Piece of junk. I have gone through a spool of filament trying to calibrate it to print nice, and it just won’t. I can use it for my basic designs, but anything with any type of detail looks like crap. I only make a couple hundred a month on my 3D printing side of the business, so I can’t really justify buying a $1000+ printer when it will take 6+ months to pay it off. That is a really cool printer though. Maybe when the Maverick is paid off, I can think about buying a new, fancy printer and start selling Maverick stuff. Until then .

The p1s and a-1 are also really strong options for much cheaper. Think of the Carbon as the Lariat, a-1 is the xl and the p1s is the xlt. Course for details its hard to beat one of the Mars 3d printers. I may have a hobby of collecting hobbies.. And for a bit 3d printers were the one.

I asked 3 questions. 1. Which color would best match atlas blue. 2. Do they print in asa or petg I'm in Florida so if this was PLA it would be useless to me. 3. If they do not print in petg or Asa would they be willing to sell a non commercial use stl file so I can print it in asa. I wasn't asking for a free design. I was trying to verify it would work for my use case before purchasing and if not offer an alternative where I'd still purchase from them. A simple hey dark blue and we print in asa or petg and do not sell any files. And I'd have bought the part.

Also I am asking for dimensions here because if the original seller doesn't want to answer 2 simple questions for a sale I will model it up and make my own version. I have a 3d printer I'm just not set to print Asa. So I really don't care, I was willing to pay them for any work either completed project or the STL to print one copy of the cubby...

In their defense there are a lot of people out there that are just trying to steal the work they put in and then undercut them. Basically dudes just trying to protect his business. Best bet probably would've been buying it and then throwing in a few questions in the comment box.
