What is ford credit apr, as right now..

I am getting close to my Estimated Delivery 06/16/2024 - 06/29/2024, I am applying loan at my bank and be approved,
With putting $4500 cash down, financing $22,015. The longest term we can go is 75 months, payments are $345/mo. The interest rate is 5.24%.

What is ford credit apr, which on to go with……. I think my bank will the best, it with family trust federal credit union.

5.4% is pretty good right now. Ford will be in the 8's. (Atleast it was on May 6th)
I think the best we could get was 5.6% from a local credit union. My dealer actually found that for us. The one I had set up was 6.1.

Well... It's lower than the current normal which is 7-ish + %.

I can't say it's something I'd consider for the extra interest but if you need it, you need it. Overall not bad though (ngl, it still hurts me to think of anything over 3% for a vehicle and the new norm being 72 months).

If they are quoting you 5.24%, I'd shop around and see if anyone can go lower. Solid chance that if a local credit union is close to that percentage and you show them this, they might go lower (never show them anything until their first quote). Always always always get at least 3 or more options lined up before you sign anything and go with whoever is lower. You can always act like it's too much too, and see how they act when you lose interest and start heading for the door

Never hurts to try. Be tactful, respectful, and know your limits. If they are pushy, walk. Sometimes even coming back a week later and you'll see 5% all the sudden... or you just take the 5.24% if the refuse to budge and nobody else can beat it. Gotta check your options ahead of time and go in with the plan. Never just take their first offer.

That’s $1587 not the $500 shown, a ~$1100 error and $$ you’ll need.

As a SC resident you are taxed at the SC rate of 6% and that amount is collected by your Dealership and remitted to your home state where the vehicle is tagged and resides..

(Unless you are trading a vehicle) you are taxed on the full sales price of $26,444. Your state's 6% tax is $1586.64. The $500 in tax shown in your original post is incorrect... You need to understand that before moving forward.

The "total cash price" including the $71 tag fee (assuming that is correct for SC) becomes $28,101.64 minus your $500 down payment so the $ due at delivery will be ~$27,601.64

When you title/tag/license it in Clover SC, you are going to be asked to pay the sales tax. This is assuming the NC dealer does not collect it and pass it along to SC.

That is how it worked for me when I bought in Kansas but live in Washington. Kansas dealer did not collect sales tax and I paid it via cash/check when I title/tag/licensed it in Washington. You will do the same, assuming the paperwork you have shown is accurate.

I mean.....do you think buying out of state somehow will relieve you of the need to pay sales tax? None of the 50 states are dumb enough to let that loophole exist. The tax man always gets his $$$$

You need to understand the numbers and the math

...Generally... neighboring selling states will collect home state sales tax and tag fee and remit to your home state as a courtesy....

The DORA pricing in post #10 is consistent with your initial post. Admin fees, taxes, tag fees, etc. are then added to the total..

Guarantee you will either be paying it to NC who will pass it along to SC, or you will pay it to SC when you ask SC for a license plate. Just be ready for it!
