I hope all the hybrid owners get the humor as the oil requirements, say in a Williams FJ44 series jet engine are unrelated to those of our hybrid Mavs.

Careful. Don’t. I’m not exactly a turbine expert, but know a few things about them when I did some servicing of small turbines on oil n gas production platforms in Gulf of Mexico, they driving high speed water injection pumps, compressors, etc.

Jet engine oil, from what I learned normally class as “recirculating oil”, primary used to lube and cool bearings in turbines. Also since there’s internal pressure in pressure chambers of turbine engines, acts as pressure seal to equally keep fluids in check.

According to some users, especially on F150 and RAM forums, anything between 0w-20 and 15w-20 should do fine

Redline costs that much? OMG, that makes a 6 qt oil change cost $150-165 in materials alone.

I'm happy w/Mobil-1 hybrid specific full syn 0w-20 at $28.00 for 5 qts. + the one additional qt. for $6.

Correct, I was not EVEN tempted and I know better. My response was just in case someone or a batch of someones, concluded your post was promoting the latest and greatest oil for hybrid Mavs rather than humor.
