Has Anyone Tested DD Fogs on FX4 Removing Tow Hooks

Has anyone tried to install the Diode Dynamics fog lights on a FX4 with the tow hooks removed yet? I would love to make that swap if it works.

@Jrsmith313 are you saying you don't want to use the SS3 series with the JJC brackets?

I fully admit I will probably never use the tow hooks, but personally I don't want to take them off my FX4, either.

Thanks for clarifying; I was a bit confused. I wanted to give OP credit for understanding the options (at least as far as I knew them). There is "soft-selling," and then there is "here's how NOT to use my product."

Also, I was planning to get a set of your FX4 brackets, so I'm glad you mentioned the low stock. I have a couple of questions and will DM this weekend at the latest.

I asked DD and they said they had no plans to work on a set that fit with the tow hooks. Of course, why would they tell some random and just because they said they and no plans, things change. There is a market for it, but I agree it's doubtful they will produce them.

I saw the new lobo/ST and thought about a swap to that lower bumper, but it won't fit due to the weird thing that molds into the headlights below the grille. They just had to make it complicated...

The JJC FX4 fog kit is a great option, as is swapping to the non-FX4 lower valence.

Yea that was 6 months or more after I contacted them too. I wouldn't hold my breath.
