Often even though there is alcohol involved, especially when its with a semi and they steer into even the semis evasive maneuvers its a suicide. Even drunks when they see oncoming vehicles can usually figure out to step on the brakes otherwise.

True a tragedy that can be explored. You are right the portion I thought would collapse is square. From photos anyway. Hopefully there will be a full recovery

This thread is very disturbing; a guy driving a Maverick drank too much. Yes...that was a stupid thing to do, but there isn't a person alive who's not done something stupid or regrettable, at one point, in their lives.

Some people are joking about take offs, etc...this is psychopathic.

As for the Mav: the truck retained her integrity, but there's not a vehicle alive that can sustain a hit from a semi. Kudos to the driver for attempting to avoid the crash.

Hopefully the driver of the Mav will heal up.

I don’t know if that’s true, the Lariat build and price page doesn’t mention it for the copilot package. It does have lane keep assist but that’s not evasive.
