I'm seeing $799 on there website as well. The subwoofer in the box alone is $350. I had the stealthbox for my Toyota Tacoma and loved it. That one was $1000. They build them right here in Florida. Great product, but you pay for it. Maybe if I ever get some time and feel like getting into car audio again, I'll make a fiberglass drop in box for one of those under seat cubbies.
I guess anything is possible, but I think you're underestimating the thickness that would be required and resulting amount of printing. This wouldn't be like a mabett trash can, this would have to be more like 3/4" thick.
The price of a JL stealth box is worth every penny. The 2 vehicles I had one in hit harder than 2 subs.
I got 2 groundshaker boxes with 2 8 inch subs for dirt cheap and made a cover to make it look like one box. It hits harder than I’d ever imagine. If I didn’t have this I’d put this on my list.
