From the looks of it, AARP stickers must coordinate amazingly well with Hot Pepper Red! :D

Are you going to abide by the wishes of the masses if that's how the poll leans? I voted for Azure, but HPR seems kinda like the underdog now, and I'm actually rooting for it. You will get a good-looking truck regardless.

You're never too old for HPR. I'm going on 68 and still love that color after two years. Handles dirt well too. Looks different shades in different lighting conditions.

I'm 77 and was lucky to find this 22 Lariat in Area 51. Compliments galore, when parking and in the driveway. Love the interior and color shift of the paint. If I was buying new, it would definitely be the Azure Gray.

As for color, seldom do people consider vehicle color as a safety issue. Years ago when I was car shopping, I picked up a brochure at the Mercedes dealer. It had a section on perceptibity of colors in low-light conditions.

As you might guess, silver, silver blue metallic, gray, dark gray metallic etc. were nearly imperceptible in low-light and hazy conditions.

Yellow, white, red were the most perceptible colors. Do your own "test" on your drive to work. Notice what colors stand out against the dark or gray pavement and at dusk. This is really important if you drive a lot of two lane country roads.
YES! As someone who drives for a living I can tell you this is SOOOO TRUE! Dusk/dawn/fog are bad but in the rain those colors are basically invisible. Especially in tractor trailer mirrors. People often think the little daytime running lights are enough. They are not. Most don't even show up in those conditions.

That's because people should be using their headlights in those conditions. There are a ton of people on the road with no common sense. I have 60 mile interstate commute each way daily and it's amazing how many stupid people there are.

I voted Azure Gray (my truck's color). Now two colors are neck and neck. Then order chrome rear lettering for safety.

Stupidity is definitely a factor, but I think part of it is also the combination of DRLs, digital dashboards and auto headlights that are commonplace now. Some people are easily baffled by modern technology...

About 1 out of 10 times I drive at night I will see someone doing freeway speeds with no lights on whatsoever. Pitch dark, except for DRLs if you're lucky. I can come up behind them and rapidly flash my high beams, get in front of them and turn off my lights completely a few times, and even shine the spotlight I carry in my truck at them, and they just cannot make the connection. Oblivious. It's not road rage, you dolts - I'm trying to help you while you motor along, thinking "Jeez, my headlights sure don't work too well..."

We think you'd look great in any color, Jim!
I ordered a 23 in Area 51, got converted to a 24, then Ford discontinued Area 51, replaced it with Azure Gray for $500 extra. I resent having to pay for paint so I opted for Iconic Silver. My faves are Azure Gray and Hot Pepper Red. So you are 55? Thats the new 35.

Hey! What's age got to do with it? I'm 76 and ordered a Hot Pepper Red XLT. Of course, I was a youthful 75 when I place the order.
I got you beat. My hot is being built this week and I’m will be 91 in September.

Ordered 2024 HPR Hybrid last month. I'm 54! My second choice would have been Terrain just because it's different. My third choice, Atlas, it's a nice medium blue but my current daily is already blue. So no another blue vehicule for the next 5 years!

Go w the hot pepper red! It’s the closest to velocity blue when it comes to metallic shine. Black is a good option but they’re so hard to keep clean.
