Anyone notice this in "normal" mode? Not noticed in other modes (fx4, eco and sport modes unlocked)
When I first picked the truck up I noticed the tip in throttle response would be highly variable. One time it downshifts and goes, the next maybe a slower response or a lag, but in eco mode it was as expected. I figured it would a learned parameter and the truck would eventually start responding better and I would say it has.
The problem is I was out of town for 5 days and the truck sat. When I'm driving now I notice a bigger problem with throttle response. I think the issue isn't so much even the throttle now, but shifting points. It almost seems like I'll hit the gas and it wants to upshift instead of downshift, or at least hold the gear too long before deciding to downshift. With a little more throttle it kicks down and starts boosting a bit more than necessary. Its been frightening a couple times as the truck didn't accelerate as expected pulling into traffic.
I know if I take it to the dealer they'll think I'm nuts and they will never take the time to recreate the issue. I'm more interested in finding out if anyone else has noticed this on the regular, after sitting, or a battery disconnect causing it to start happening.
