Roof Rack for XL 2024?

After doing the search here just can't find the answer or link to purchase two racks that will attach from door to door type roof rails.

Any help on finding what I'm looking for will be very much appreciated.

I've had roof rack systems on... hmm, I think 4 previous vehicles. Every one of those vehicle had roof rails and the Maverick does not. I have never installed crossbar towers that clamp directly to a naked vehicle roof, and I wouldn't do it with my Maverick, but the stuff is definitely out there if you choose to do this.

First question: what are you going to carry on the roof rack? Find whatever bike rack, kayak rack, cargo tray, roof top tent you're going to use and work backwards from there.

To me, there's really 3 systems to consider:
1. Yakima
2. Thule
3. Cheap/knock-off crap on Amazon or eBay

Even though there are somewhat standards on roof rails, I like to have everything the same brand if possible so that you can be sure the rack, cargo box, etc fits well on the crossbar rails. If you have a square bar and the clamp of a rooftop tent is really made for oval bars, it can be clamped, but won't have a lot of surface area so it's not really ideal.

Here's some Yakima and Thule options. There are many, many options for crossbars and racks. If you can't pick, I would suggest that you find a local store that specializes in whatever you're carrying, such as an outdoor outfitter for a kayak rack, or a bicycle shop if you're hauling bikes.

I'll share some later. The rack does come with 3 different types of clamps. You use the one that works best for your vehicle.

I would really appreciate that!! I did forget to mention I do know of the Acc. options from Ford. I really didn't want to spend that much a set of rails. I was looking for any other options. It won't be used for anything heavy so just need if for fishing poles and longer objects like that. Thank you all very much.

I was less than impressed with the clamp padding that arrived in the package so got some heavy duty rubberized pads, also from amazon. Note that i cut them a little bigger than the clamps, just to make sure there is not car paint damage.

I assume you're aware but there are definitely fishing rod racks and cases available. They are not cheap, lol.

I already have numerous fishing rod tubes, typically 7’-6” long and 8” in diameter. I’m looking for glue on roof rails (front to back, NOT crossbars) that I could use bungee cords to attach the tubes. I did this on my Explorers for years. Are there any companies that sell Maverick roof rails??

Yes, What I'm looking for cross rails that go from door to door not rails that run along the doors on the roof.

Malone makes the bars also. They are just another manufacturer. Their prices might be slightly less.
I believe the ford model is made by Yakima. A lot of bike shops and REI carry them.
