Painted Wheel Caps

Was going to paint the whole wheel black. Completed the spare wheel. Felt good about it. Went ahead and did the caps too. Now I think I like just the caps painted. Having an internal debate if I should proceed to painting the actual wheel too.

Personal opinion, I think that looks really nice. I have a 22 Area 51 XL and am debating about which color I’m going to paint. I actually like the silver but want it to stand out. I’m thinking graphite or bronze with a chrome trim ring. The beauty of steel wheels is a change is only a spray can away.

What I did

Looks great. Not my flavor personally. But really looks great. Takes the maverick to a different level. Takes some skill to do that. I like your single pin stripe along the side. Very classy looking. Executed very tastefully. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, I too thought about using them.
BUT! NO they DO NOT Fit As Is..
The Transit has 180mm lug spacing. The Maverick has 108mm lug spacing.
So, after some engineering, I got them to fit!
