How long for new Maverick just ordered to arrive?

Hello all, A family member just ordered a Maverick AWD XL with the 2.0. What is the ballpark time frame to expect delivery to New Jersey?

Too many variables to even give a ballpark estimate within any sort of accuracy at all. Example; after my '23 was ordered, it took a year to build. Then more than an additional month between shipped & delivery.

Things have improved lately for '24MY, though. So it's likely yours won't be delayed that long. The biggest factor now is whether your dealer has any Maverick allocations left or not.

Ordered my Lariat july 17 th 2023 and I picked up in Pittsburgh on Jan 27 th 2024. So a little over 6 months but others are getting them sooner now.

XLs are currently constrained so likely won't be quick.

This reason I think is more important than the model you are choosing. Go to a dealer that has small or none and you will be waiting for a long time. I would go to the biggest Ford dealer in NJ and place an order there. Is should have done this with mine. I routinely see unsold Mavericks at a Ford dealer near me. The one I bought from rarely gets them in.

I have been waiting since September of 2022 for my 2023 XL, 2.0, AWD. I just got notice that mine was rolled over to a 2024 model. & costs were more. I've been a Ford person for a long time, but I'm about to change over to another brand. An 18 month wait is ridiculous!

Thank you to all that responded. There sure is a wide range for order to delivery time frames. We're hoping for at least a Fall delivery.

See if the sales manager will tell you if they have enough allocations to reasonably expect your order to get built. This is the probably the most important question to find the answer to. Unfortunately, some stealerships won't give you a direct answer.

And it doesn't matter if the dealer is large or small. Of course, larger dealers usually have more allocations than smaller ones. But they also take a lot more orders - sometimes a lot more than they have allocations for. Those orders go unfilled/rolled over to the next model year.

I ordered a 2024 hybrid XLT back on November 2nd. Just this week I was notified of the build week May 6th I live on the east coast in a rural community with a small dealership. Any one know what I can expect as far build completion and delivery?

MY Lariat was delivered to Lordstown OH by rail last week. Now it may take 3 weeks for it to be transferred to Semi to go only 60 miles to my dealer.. What a joke.
