This is what I’m thinking. With the numbers remaining in queue and the approximate production capability meeting that number (or exceeding it in some months like January), I struggle to imagine ways in which they don’t clear most of the remaining backlog except the hybrid XLs, some ecoboost XLs maybe, and a small number of other hybrids.

Here’s hoping.

I see others who ordered their maverick around same time I did and are getting build dates..me ....I get email due to shipping issues we cannot build your maverick.

I’ve been in the same/similar boat—ordered through my dealership the morning pre orders for MY24 opened up in July, picked XLT hybrid lux with no wild/limfac options to try and keep it as fast as possible. Did tons of research and calculated we’d more or less be where we are now in terms of total remaining orders and rate of production—so i figured I’d have had a date by now.

what i failed to account for was my dealership apparently had a significant (probably excessive) number of MY23 orders in their queue, and not that many allocations. I had no clue allocations could put me at the back of the line even if i ordered sooner than others nationally.

So I’ve been seeing folks get near identical builds already delivered and they ordered at the same time or even months later.

it’s really frustrating because there’s no good reason for their system to work this way. They had excuses the last couple years and it seemed like they learned their lessons—except Ford still doesn’t understand how to treat their order holding customers equitably. I shouldn’t lose my place in line because my dealership wasn’t forthright with how overburdened with rollover orders they were.

Basically we’re at the whim of our dealership and how honest and willing to offer up information they are. And that’s a poor basis for a pre-order system.

Your specific problems with your order might be different/your mileage may vary, but that’s what I’ve noticed in my case and just wanted to vent. Hopefully we all get some good news this month!

I just received my scheduling email at 9:18AM central time after originally ordering 9-15-22 (546 days.) Build week of May 6th, 2024. VIN ending 888XX. XL Hybrid copilot 360 Hot Pepper Red. I ordered through a medium volume dealer in the midwest.

Hey I live in Charleston area. I just got email notification my build date week May 13. Any idea how long it takes to build and how long after that to have transported to dealership??

Really getting frustrated at this point. Hybrid XLT Lux ordered on 7/17/23 and still no build date. My dealer told me they had 11 rollovers out of 20 allocations (and received more allocations since then) and I was first in line after that, so I should have a date by now if there's any hope of building them all. I'm about to call Granger because Ford clearly has no intention of giving my dealer any trucks
