What are the best accessories or mods you've done?

Do the Ford mud flaps cover the void in the driver's side rear wheel well? I want to keep the salt and grime out of there. It looks like RokBlocks cover it well, but they're a little pricey.

They don't cover that void, it is all open and won't stop water/snow from slinging onto the back of the tail light. Rokblokz are a good alternative.

I agree on the cover. Bought the cheap gator and it changes the whole thing and I thought it couldn't get any better.

My best aftermarket accessory is the undercover armor tonneau cover . adds usability and security to bed .

any interest in selling the bed tie down bars?

Not really. I did shave down the cleats to clear the tonneau holding brackets so they are damaged goods now. Instead of one moveable I have four fixed tie points on each side.

Truxedo Lo Pro Soft roll up tonneau keep my tools dry, Elevate rails with Angry Elephant Rack for hauling everything but mostly lumber, old F150 Rubber Bed mat cut to size, cubby storage on drivers side, led lights for bed. Also added the Escape all weather mats instead of Weathertech since they cover all of the carpet. All useful for me.

My favorite as far as sensible functionality per dollar was $124 to add a power locking tailgate on my XL…. Took me 20 minutes to install and it’s already made me feel better about leaving items in the bed (where I’m now swapping out my gator SFX for an extang Xceed that got here yesterday)…. We’ll see if that “upgrade” goes on my love or hate list as far as my mods go.

How do you like the xceed? Of the trifold options, it looks the best to me, with the seamless matte black cover.

I found a fuzzy Cookie Monster, at a rummage sale for $1.00, that fits in the empty space to the right of the back-up camera screen. I also got Winnie the Poo, and Tigger, so I can rotate them.

I saw a young lady in a blue Maverick on Sunday at a gas station. The first time that I've seen one other than mine. I offered her my blue cookie monster to go with the color of her truck, but she took Winnie the poo.

Long term, my best mods are the full Ziebart treatment and the ceramic coating.

Short term, it's the Truxedo Sentry hard rolling tonneau cover and the BedRug bed mat because they immediately improve the look and useability of the bed.

• 3D printed console trash can. (This is a perfect fit and function. It is out of the way yet deep and large. I have not seen it posted lately but this guy should post again because I have a lot of Maverick friends that really want it after seeing it in my truck)
• Nilight 12V waterproof sockets 2 pack (These are a perfect fit for the two 12V plugs on each side of bed near tailgate. I have used these a lot and they look like a factory fit. You will be glad to have them.

Personal Mods

• Center console ambient illuminated cup holders.
  This is doable and the end project looks totally factory. (Of course, this should be part of the ambient lighting package in the first place. Shame of Ford for leaving it out). The attached picture is from another post on this site but mine looks very similar and i love it.
