I want to get Lasfit Brake Lights for my XLT Maverick.

Can someone confirm that has a XLT Eco, that the Lasfit T3 series upgrade version will work 100% without hyper flashing that has already had the recall done?

There are SO many message threads on here about the issue and it's hard to know what is correct. I also don't want to Forscan anything.

Were the T3 Brake tail light LED's the solution that Lasfit came up with to fix the issue with the recall?

I just put Lasfit LED replacements into all the non-LED lights on my 2024 XLT last week and yes, they solved the hyperflash issue. T3-4257R (taillights)

I assume you have done the recall on your 24 XLT?

I took delivery after the recall was addressed. I removed one bulb from each taillight when I installed the Lasfits and got the rapid flash warning

The rep from Lasfit said the T3 series will fix hyperflash on XL and XLT, but not the Lariat. Some users in the same thread said what happens is that it hyperflashes once while using the signal on each vehicle start and then is fine after that. Sounds like it's sort of fixed, but not really. If hyperflash really bugs you, I'd say stick with the OEM bulbs.

This was one of the reasons I posted this message. If the LEDs hyperflash once, this would lead me to believe this is not a permanent fix or complete solution.

Also, Lasfit was quick to have this T3 available and it would seem it would take time to develop a permanent solution.

The T3s were out in late summer/fall 2023, before this recall even happened, so it wasn't really a quick fix per-say. Yeah it's really not a fix, they said something about the bulbs learning each time you turn them on, which is why it hyperflashes once. I haven't had the recall done, and still have the original Lasfit bulbs, so I cannot say anything definitively.

Starting to think I might wait it out for a T4.

I have the original LasFit bulbs on my 2022 Lariat and because of that not getting the recall done. I have noticed, since I originally installed them, they are OK unless they are flashing for an extended period of time. Believe the issue is they get hot and then do not report to the auto computer correctly. If they "rest" for a while, the hyperflash goes away. Not sure if the re-engineered bulbs have that same issue or not, but something to be aware of.
