So I’m cleaning the Mav and noticed on the dash that there’s an icon for rear fog light in the cluster next to the front fog and highbeam icons. So I’m guessing there is some kind of rear fog option maybe for the ones sold in Europe. I’ve had the rear fogs on a few of my cars in the past and it does help with visibility in inclement weather. Since Antonio is like the mod king here I wonder if he can figure out how this is possible.

Really? Rear fogs are always red though. And when I hit my rear cargo light button that symbol doesn’t light up but the cargo bay light comes on.

Id check local traffic laws first before attempting this mod. In Texas "fog" lamps are only legal on the front of the vehicle per the Texas transportation code.

Never had an issue with rear fogs on any of my german vehicles in Texas.

It’s good by me. Seen many Audi, Benz and bmws with them. I’ve never had an issue in the past 20 years.

You're in Austin, we dont consider that Texas. lol. I can see the benefit of them but yea its illegal per the code.

Lol. This is just my most recent residence. Even in other cities in Texas I have never had a problem. I was also a state vehicle inspector and it is not something we check. Rear fogs are equipped on vehicles sold in the state so they are not illegal. They are not white light.
