hmmm
I don't see it that way, because just how I got mine( searching online for dealerships that have one in stock on the lot that someone didn't want) I will be helping out someone else the same way by having one that's available and not "scheduled for build" in a few months.
I do hope you are searching online as well. Sorry you have to wait but still in all just keep an eye out online.
good luck
Well have you told the dealership you are not going to buy what you ordered

Well just got the email from Ford stating that one of them is scheduled to be built next month, the other still nothing. These were both ordered in November. Ill let the dealership know I don't need it when its actually on the way to them. I know they will not have any problems selling it once it hits the lot.

Really don't think lol was the best answer for ordering 2 vehicles that your not going to buy when they come in. People like you are why orders take so long for people who really want one like me.
No, it's Ford stupid allotment system that rewards large dealers and screws customers that don't have large dealers near them.

Explain how I now have two mavericks built that I ordered in DEC that match what others are posting in this thread and have been waiting a year plus?

No, they probably won't have trouble selling them, even at a reasonable (to some people) ADM. You have helped dealer profits. But your multiple orders have put two people farther behind in getting a vehicle they ordered and actually want to buy. Of course, you don't see it that way, but it's true.

Sorry but I guess I don’t see it that way.
If anyone wants a OW XL EB try checking a ford dealer in eastern MA and if someone wants a CB XL EB try the ford in eastern CT, hit them up in about 4-6 months.
I’d shake the hand of the guy who refused his order which allowed me to get my Mav sooner than 10-12 months. Maybe guys can just do the footwork of checking dealers in surrounding states instead of waiting, you might find something better than what you wanted that someone else turned down.
Good luck to those who have to wait, hopefully it won’t be too long, I’m really sorry you’re being held up.

Or you could contact your dealership where you ordered them and tell them you don't want them because I bet they have several people who would take your orders rather than saying LOL because they keep sending you updates on your order. Called common curtisy

Actually, you're wrong- look at my post above.

If you all think these are built in order I got news- do some research.

Look You're just ignorant of how this works.

I'm still getting notifications from Ford on my first canceled order. I had to cancel 3 days after ordering because I had a vin and canceling was easier than making a change.

Misery wants company, you're not alone. The good is if they can get parts with 3 shifts they should start pushing them out. The biggest issues is the restraints because of lack of parts. Heck even tires on the base xl and XLT trim they were an issue until a few weeks ago. Hoping they get the parts issue resolved, that would help in production immensely. Unfortunately that just in time has issues and flaws. One could look at stocking parts a waste of money because it's just sitting there. In another perception is not having the parts limiting production is a huge cost factor. Every minute of down time is costly and also has a trickle effect on various other issues such as shipping, and more importantly cash flow for the company. Just my opinion.

In any case best of luck with your order.
I really hope your comments on tires is untrue. If Ford's supply of tires is limited from company A then get them from company B. Tires are a consumable part of vehicle ownership that can easily be changed during ownership.

I paid $25000 for my 2023 Maverick hybrid; what vehicle would you buy, new, cheaper than that???? That included the Rhino liner and foldable tonneau.

Since I have ordered my Maverick XL AWD blue. I have 3 different dealerships that I contacted me saying we have a Maverick someone ordered and would I be interested. Because they don't want it. I wish one would have been closer to what I want but no. I think we are going to see a lot more of people that ordered waited to long and now don't want.
