I caught that too. But I think they just copy/pasted from the Broco Sport cover description. It doesn't seem to have the same access. Hoping...
Looks like the Rival will not fit the Tremor. But if it did I would get one. The quality looks great and the ease of oil changes would be nice.

We will check locally for Tremor owners to catch up and measure. Making a skid plate that would fit all trims would be a main goal.

I think I saw a picture from a JCR employee s few weeks ago that they're doing test fitments for plates to cover the long felt pieces. I've already destroyed one and one is in its way out in the front. They're $100...

The EVAP canister is covered by steel on the FX4.
Looks like they have the skid plates to cover the felt areas available now.

They look good in the photo.

The fact that I'd have to drill into the pinch welds with an $84 bit makes it a bit nerve wracking for me.
1/4" medium length solid carbide bits run about $15, buy 2. Carbide is brittle so you can't horse it or run high speed.
Small squeeze bottle of Tap Magic cutting fluid, highly recommended, $5

I'd go for this when available!!
They are working on it. Met up with them today for some measurements on my 2.5L hybrid. Another fella was there with a bronco sport that had one installed for the last 2 years. Looks robust for sure.

If you have a good contact at JCR, can you ask them about the engine skid plate(s)? They appear to show a Tremor, which has a different front valance than a FX4 and/or "standard" models. I can't seem to get a response from them if they have a plate to fit the standard valance. 2.0 EB version

Sorry! OK Alex, does yours fit the standard valance? I'm guessing the answer is yes, since it does not attach to the valance like the OEM fiberboard one.

Based on the conversation today they are hoping to have one that fits the 2.0, 2.5 and Temor as well.

In case you didn't see my post, I ordered the engine plate for a standard EB AWD and had it installed last Friday. It looks awful on the standard EB AWD (not FX4 or Tremor). I asked JCR Off-Road, and they said they offer a single design for all models.

In the end, I purchased the engine cover, engine plate, floor plates, and gas tank plates from JCR. I didn't know (for several reasons) the catalytic converter was purchased separately. I would have ordered it if I had known. In conclusion:
  1. I am not happy they used me to redesign the engine cover since they didn't consider the different Ecoboost brake booster options.
  2. The engine skid plate design/engineering is terrible because they didn't offer different designs for the standard, FX4, and Tremor Ecoboost AWD variations.
  3. The website doesn't show the catalytic converter plate when you search for Maverick items from the home page. It shows up as a separate item you can order and related to the floor plates. This is confusing and deceptive in my opinion. I would have ordered it had I seen it. Now, I am not so sure I want to purchase with them again - especially after seeing someone else going through the prototyping process for them.

I will be ordering the Rival plate today. I will sell or give away the JCR one when it arrives.

I saw your other posting, is the JCR plate rubbing on the lower radiator hose?
