I did a boo-boo yesterday so now I want to replace my left front fender. I can get a new one pre-painted, and so since there is no damage to any other parts I'm hoping I can just switch it out myself without a body shop or insurance involved. I searched for prior discussions or videos on this and haven't located any. Does anyone here have any experience in doing this? Specifically, I want to know a.) is there only bolts holding the fender or am I going to find weld spots too? b.) what else needs to be removed to gain access, and c.) am I wise to try this or is it really difficult? Any help would be appreciated!

search youtube , red neck garage and MrBoom_5.0. They both basically tear down the front end of the Maverick for other mods but gives you an idea of what to expect . After viewing and seeing the exposed fender it should just unbolt. Not saying you need to remove all they had too but Judging by the factory parts fender assembly diagram in order to get to the bolts alot of what they do might be necessary . Also just like installing fender flares or mudflaps (plenty of videos on that) those pop in fastners should be easy when removing the inner fender well.
Not an expert just turned a few wrenches in my time

Did you ever find instructions? Did you swap your fender? I need to replace my right fender. Wondering how easy/hard this was for you to do.

I find writing that check much easier and if I make mistakes fixing it myself much cheaper. 🤷‍♂️
