Mine is a 22’ lariat hybrid. Just had the 2nd set of cv axles replaced. Completely died on me 3 times where they had to replace the main wiring harness.

Multiple recalls. Power plugs at the back of the center console in the passenger compartment and power port in the bed never worked from the factory. Dealership had to get new receptacles.

Most times I was on my own when needing another vehicle to ride.

Plastics get scratched easily.

With all of the issues my truck has had and the frustrations getting loaners from Ford where I had to ride my motorcycle in the weather to get to work etc. due to no vehicle to borrow or asking people for rides. Just not worth taking another chance with everything I’ve been the with my Maverick.

Yes, I did buy again as I bought a second Ford Mavrick for me. I bought my wife one of the 2022 and I bought the 2024. Just recieved it this week. I also owned a 2021 F-150 Hybrid which was great.

Besides my 2023 hybrid XLT, I've got a 2009 Toyota Prius with the original batteries and 160,000 miles. Gas mileage has dropped a little to around 42 mpg, but the hybrid system has been great.

Worst case scenario, Greenbean will come to your house and install an entire lithium battery in the Prius for $1,624.

And doubly yes if they offer it in AWD, making it even better. Love the Hybrid drivetrain.

So far, yes. 1st tank was hand computed at 43.2 MPG whereas the vehicle computer displayed 45.1.

I was just wondering with all the negative threads about a Maverick hybrids That if you have one or own one would you buy a hybrid again yes or no ?
Yes,
The best thing is that I've cut my monthly fuel cost in half, the savings ultimately cuts my monthly car payment in half...WIN/WIN. With just over 5100 miles, I've been fortunate to not have had any of the many issues others have posted. Only completed one mod that's hardwired into the trucks electrical, my front & rear dash cam with out any problems. The recall repair is on schedule tomorrow with Ford mobile service right here at work. Very happy with my purchase.

2022 Hybrid XL with 22K miles here.

Yes, i would bout it again.

3 reclals done last week in 1 day.

I do absolutely hate the entertainment screen freezing everyday, but is ok.

For sure i will keep it for 8 more years and then i get a Honda or Toyota Hybrid.
My screen began "freezing" as well during startup, it will show the ford smybol loading then freeze all black or grey, if I flip to reserve the backup camera will work but once back in drive the camera is stuck on the screen until I reset the screen. Did you bring yours in to the dealership? It's pretty annoying, wonder if there's a fix.

AWD, fix the battery drain issues, maybe. I'm changing my answer from a hard no due to past experiences to a potential maybe.

Sounds like they have moved on from the ones potentially affected by the crankshaft issues (and my AWD Hybrid Escape was one of them) so I don't see any reason why not. But I'd have to have AWD and I'm not sold on the battery issues especially living in a colder environment.

I'd personally love a Tremor Hybrid. I have 5 years to wait. Let's make it happen FORD.

Absolutely the mileage is great. It’s extremely comfortable quiet little or no service and I was thinking it was gonna be kind of a dog off the line but in sport mode it’s almost as fast as the eco-boost, especially with just a half tank or less of gas. I’ve got the tent and inflatable bed a refrigerator with an icemaker and a portable grill so I’m all set for picnicking and one day camping. It’s a fantastic little truck. if you don’t have to tow anything big and don’t have huge construction loads to carry it’s the way to go

Yes, unless Ford were to come out with a PHEV.

YES! The only reason I bought the Maverick was because it was a hybrid. I didn't need a pickup, but since it came standard crew cab, was a hybrid, fit in my garage was aFORDable, I gave it a shot. I didn't want an EV, so hybrid was the way to go.

Yes, so far so good, aside from 12v charging not making any sense compared to the PriusTruck I came from. The Hybrid Mav is like a mini-Rivian, but affordable and chargerless. I'd consider and a lower range EV version or PHEV version, but not unless it can maintain it's low price point.
