While the Ford Maverick doesn’t come with a factory fog light option, there is still a need for light directly in front of the vehicle to increase your visibility in foggy, dusty, snowy, or rainy conditions. Headlights simply weren’t designed to provide this kind of visibility, so that’s where we come in.

Introducing our new add-on Elite Series Fog Lamp Kit for the 2022-2024 Ford Maverick!

This kit allows you to mount two SAE-compliant fog lamps in the factory bumper while maintaining an OEM appearance thanks to the custom-designed bezel.



OEM+ Appearance. Our team of in-house engineers designed the bezel included in this fog light kit to match the factory bumper, giving you a seamless appearance between plastics. While this kit does require cutting the bumper, it’s simple to do and is absolutely worth it.

Factory-like Operation. Unlike other basic harnesses on the market, the Add-On Fog Harness included in this kit allows the fog lights to operate automatically, just like you'd expect from the factory. By using an activation and deactivation wire, along with a toggle switch, the harness will turn your fog lights on automatically any time the headlights are turned on, and the switch is in the on position. This is much more convenient than manually flipping a switch on every time you want to use them!



Output that Outperforms. The Elite Series Fog Lamp is built around a highly-engineered single-piece PMMA lens. This optic was carefully designed using advanced optical simulation software to produce an asymmetric light pattern that is wider than any other aftermarket fog lamp on the market, with a 100-degree spread of highly intense light. Even with this extremely wide band of light, the pattern is extremely smooth throughout, with an extremely sharp cutoff to avoid glare to other drivers, including a BMW-style “color flicker” at the very edge of the pattern. Diode Dynamics engineers accomplished all this while still meeting SAE F3 fog light standards, for legal on-road use. White or Yellow. The Elite Series Fog Lamps in this kit are available in a cool white or selective yellow output color.

The white is a 6000K color temperature, which is a true cool white output. This will perfectly match other LEDs on your vehicle, such as DRLs or running lights. The white option also offers a premium BMW-style color band at the very top of the beam pattern.

The selective yellow option is 3000K in color temperature, which is great for high contrast in inclement weather, or in providing a distinctive look on the road. The yellow lamp consists of a yellow multi-die LED emitter paired with a yellow-tinted lens, to provide unmatched output and optical efficiency, even with the intense yellow output.



Backlight Functionality.All Elite Series Fog Lamps come standard with an integrated amber accent light. This backlight feature fully illuminates the main lens with amber LEDs, intended to match other position, sidemarker, or corner lights on your vehicle. Check local laws and regulations for acceptable use.



Bolt-On Fitment. The brackets included in this kit bolt directly to factory mounting points behind the bumper. With built-in adjustment, the lamps can be aimed after installation. So the one thing im not understanding is when the video connects to the positive lead on the battery? I thought the hybrid's battery was in the cab so what is being connected to?

I've seen many people be adverse to using T taps. are there actual issues with these?

After watching the video, honestly feel like these instructions also answered some other questions ive had about the truck.

They're connecting to the battery cable where it attaches to the junction block of the underhood fuse box.

T-taps typically aren't sealed and in any moisture exposure environment can create an ingress point for corrosion to develop and spread up/down the wire beneath the insulation. Cutting, splicing, and using a heatshrink with sealant liner is better practice.

Wish i'd have known this sooner. Wasted too much time contemplating how to get to the battery inside the cab on other projects.

The one under the red cover is for jump-starting the vehicle and does not have a nut.

Long time listener, first time caller here. So I have a 2023 EB Mav FX4. Looking for as much of a plug and play solution as possible as far as wiring (like the stage series backup kit). What's the best way to get a wiring harness that will let me use the JJC fog light brackets (next to the tow hitch) with the SS3 light. Would love to have the fog lights come on with the main lights if that makes wiring easier.
