How to get private price offer?

Ordered the 23 XLT Hybrid and rolled over to 2024. Followed all the rules, same model and no changes. Having no success through Ford or the dealer on receiving any private offer price reduction or information. Customer support, marketing and the dealer are no help and act like they have no knowledge. What do I do?

I called the Ford marketing center and they provided me with all of the info. You'll need your customer order number and VIN. They gave me two numbers to give to my dealer. When I got to my dealer for delivery, they already had the private offer in the paperwork. I had taken the numbers with me just in case.

The Ford marketing center phone number I used is: 800-334-4375

I contacted both customer support and marketing. Ford marketing rep named Chris sounded very sympathetic but claimed ignorance about any price protection or private offers. Blah, blah, blah. Claimed these forums were not supported by Ford and not necessarily reliable.
I’ll keep bugging them & hope for the best.

You should be getting a private offer. Show this to your dealer. They get it fixed by contacting their Sales and Inventory Specialist. They will need this information from the 2023 COVP approval:

Private Offer Information Needed:

hi, would this also pertain to getting the 23-24 offer if you have a 22-24 offer? I have a 22 that’s now a 24 and just arrived. Thought I should be getting both offers since my order number has stayed the same.

It would be for the 2023 unfulfilled order. My 2024 has shipped with hybrid price increase for my XLT

You would get 2 offers, they are making 2 different offers for 22 to 24 orders.

You would get 2 offers, they are making 2 different offers for 22 to 24 orders.
That’s just it. I’m only getting the 22-24 and not the 23-24. Kinda arguing about it right now. Maverick just showed up. I’ve been trying to resolve this for months.

Key enabler for rollover private offers is an original COVP submission in the customers name by the dealer when you placed the order in 2022. The private offers were automatically attached to the COVP name when the rollover occurred.

COVP is a verification process that ensures a real person placed the original order. Customer service should be able to tell you if there was a COVP linked to the order. If the dealer failed to do that then it will be an uphill battle.

If the dealer is uncooperative and doesn’t seem to want to work and help me out what is my recourse? Walk away from a truck I’ve been waiting a year and a half to receive or suck it up and except it as supply & demand.
What if any leverage does one have?
Seems like we are at the mercy of the dealer.

I’ve sent this to the sales person previously and for whatever reason they’ve just blew me off. Yesterday he tried telling me he messed up in 22 and I only get one offer. I replied to him saying it made no sense since the offer I have is from 22 and not the 23-24 offer. Lost my patients and called the GM. He said he would work with the rep to get it straightened out. They aren’t in a rush to move the Maverick so I’m not concerned they’ll sell it out from under me.
The GM and know each other pretty well. I’ve bought a lot of vehicles from them. Told him I no longer wish to deal with this sales guy as a result of this deal.

Thanks for the input and allowing me to make sure my line of thinking was correct. Some people might have just accepted what they say.

What does that entail? I don't want to create a adversarial situation where I arrive to pick up my new Maverick and everyone at the dealership is PO'd.
I haven't talked to them face to face. Sales manager just hasn't gotten back to me and it's been a week plus.
