Just curious if anyone else has experienced this very strange movement in Production/Built status on the Ford tracking site. My order was scheduled for the week of 11/20/23 and showed as "In Production" on 11/23/23. Then it sat there for several week, when it finally moved to "Built" on 12/13. I even received a text from Ford saying it was Built and had a projected arrival ETA of Jan 6 to Jan 12. Hurray! I've been periodically checking to see if it ever moved to a "Shipped" status. But alas, No... This morning when I looked, it's moved back to a "In Production" status, with the 11/23 date and a last update date of 12/26.

Any clue on what might be going on? Thank for your thoughts.

Mine was showing in production 11/23/2023. It sat in the "in production" status until 12/21/2023
On 12/21/2023 it showed a built status, on 12/22/2023 it showed a shipped status.

During the almost month long wait I was in contact with my dealer. He was able to see the trucks real time position using vinview. It had shipped back in November, but the tracker we have access to never updated. My truck was delivered to the dealer on 12/24/2023.

You may want to see if your dealer can view it in vinview. If its anything like my order it shipped already, and the tracker just hasn't updated.

It's just the "buggy" tracker. Dont put all your trust in it.
Mine went to Built on 11/9 and just before it Shipped, the tracker went all the way back to Order Confirmed. A few days later, I received the Shipped email and the tracker was updated correctly to Shipped with estimated delivery dates of 11/26 - 12/08.
Unfortunately, according to the dealer, the train from Mexico arrived in Chicago the week of 11/26 and it's been sitting there since, waiting on truck transport. Today is 12/27 and tracker still shows Delivery by 12/08.

I'm not sure how many trains they have running from Mexico to Chicago, but I hope it's more than one! Now that my truck has finally switched from in production to built after more than a month delay, I hope it ships soon and gets to my dealership in a matter of a couple weeks rather than a couple of months! Being in Wisconsin, I'd expect my truck would be on the train to Chicago as well.

Probably saw a scratch after production and thought it was easier to crush, recycle and rebuild. They are inexpensive trucks you know....

Tracker is just a piece of software trying to figure out all the inputs and probably undeveloped like all other manufacturers (i.e. VW/Audi/Porsche is way worse). To us it looks like a mistake, to the tracker it's right on the money.

Feels like they only have one train total. My Mav was built on December 8th and released from Hermosillo. It was estimated to arrive 1/2-8, then 1/11-17, and now 1/22-28. Still waiting on it to be shipped. May never happen

Also feels like there is only 1 truck bringing vehicles from Chicago rail yards to Wisconsin and I thinks he took off for the whole holiday season, starting at Thanksgiving.
