Crazy prices on Maui!

Crazy prices for a Tremor on Maui. It is the 2nd one on island after mine and also HPR. I get it's a lariat but I paid 29k for mine. This is crazy!!

I shipped mine for 800 but without a coupon in 2000 from the mainland and I think 700 inter island.

Being a Lariat, which normally comes with the Sync 3 and Sirius XM, is it available with the subscription if someone buys a new Lariat there?

I'm fairly confident it said on Ford's website the XM subscription was not available in Alaska and Hawaii.

Did they provide an alternative when you bought yours, Maverickman74, or are you just SOL?

I got mine at Granger in Iowa. They didn't mention any of em and I didn't ask since I'm not usually willing to pay for music unless it's a full album and I know the band is getting a good cut. I have satellite TV and internet out here. I would imagine it's available. Probably with added fees.

That is a hefty markup. But if someone else on the island wants to show you up they gotta pay a price for that luxury.

I can tell you one thing I took mine up to over 11,000ft before in colorado before i shipped it. Their never gonna hit that height on Maui!

On a side note, contact the dealer give him permission to use your video's n pics of your adventures so he can mark it up even more, maybe you'll get something.

Not a bad idea. I gotta say it is telling that they first dealer stock Tremor in island is HPR. Mine arrived just before they put in their dealer orders probably. That red and orange is !

If I ordered mine if definitely would be that color, it was a declined order I just got lucky to find it, my last car was HPR though, 2018 Focus ST, the color in the morning with direct sunlight on it is amazing I've never seen another car with that shade of reddish orange

I happened to stop by Autonation Ford of Tustin this morning to see if a used Super Duty they have on the lot (that I love) is still there (which it was).

They have a new 2024 Maverick Tremor marked up $7K. Every new vehicle has over $2K in required dealer-added services plus the Tremor included a $5K "AN Maverick Tremor Package" which didn't seem to include anything other than a mark-up.

I guess you can ask anything you want, and you can hope someone is dumb enough to pay it. As much as I would like to see the Maverick's new and trade-in prices stay high, we all know that you can order one which will arrive in a few months you can purchase for MSRP from a reputable/recommended dealership.

I must have said the right thing since the salesperson approaching me stopped and returned to the queue.

It's sooo good here in the tropics. I've never seen a ST in HPR but I bet it would be one hot hatch!

Crazy price...but woo-hoo, I noticed it even has the Lux Pkg (I noticed the heated seats/steering wheel buttons in one photo). Just what Mr MonkeyBags needs when going to the top of Mt Haleakala on a cool morning! (just kidding).

I visited your wonderful island 30+ years ago. Did all the touristy things like the Road to Hana, whale-watching, etc. But my favorite was the bike ride down those mountain switchbacks and gliding thru the eucalyptus forest to the Sizzler for the included salad bar. From the colors of the sunrise at the top, to being above the clouds viewing down to the shorelines, it was once in a lifetime experience for me!
