damn that sucks! they are telling me its not going to be built until jan 9th and it has been confirmed by my dealer that it is already built, so confusing
Getting a Maverick built has always been a crap shoot, but it seems like it's getting worse!

I had my dealer and Ford Chat both tell me my truck was built long before the Ford tracker said it was built. Like a couple weeks before.

I assumed it may be that when the "modules pop" the truck is considerd "built", but not finished to someones particular order specs. I.e., the bed liner, bed cover, mud flaps, etc have yet to be installed.

Once those are done then the tracker shows it as built.

If none of those options were selected, it would be tossed on the train and heading north right after the modules popped.

I've no proof of that, but it does seem to fit many of the situations I've read about.

Hi Jeff D. My ecoboost XLT has been stuck "in production" on the tracker since 11/16. My modules "popped" around that same time. I have no body shop accessories for my build, so there seems to be no reason the tracker doesn't show my truck as built. Dealership, chat and Ford customer service calls the past weeks all say my truck is built, just waiting to be put on the train. They also say I can expect delivery to my dealership between tomorrow and the 28th, yet it still is sitting in Mexico, still waiting for the train for a month now! And I know I am not the only one seeing this shipping delay, while other trucks have been built and shipped almost immediately in more recent build weeks.

the lack of transparency with ford is making me want to cancel and go with something other than ford

Yeah, my theory certainly doesn't seem to be holding up to well, does it?

Good luck, hopefully something gives and they get these trucks loaded and moving on the trains.:)

11/20 build date, xl with tow package, same issue. Frustrating, but I've been waiting 7 months, I can be patient as well as inquisitive.

If you are a roll over from MY2023, then you've waited about 15 months and a few days, as you had a very narrow window in the 3rd week of Sept 2022 to place your order. If you are a roll over from MY2022, well then you've waited a long time and it's time to find a dealer with allocations.

However, If you are first time order for MY2024, well Order Banks for MY2024 opened on 7/17, so no one has waited more than 5 months and a handful of days for their MY2024 Maverick so far.

"I've" waited. That includes two months of waiting for the order books to open, Mr Persnickety.

Well goody for you. Seeing as this thread is obviously not directed towards lucky, chill people like you, I fail to see why you are posting in it other than to boast.

I think for every complaint on here there are 100 that had a smooth process. How many freaking "does the tracker work" threads do we need? I knew what I was in for and chilled. What do you know the trucks here.

Well by that measure, than I've waited 18 months. But that's not how we measure it, is it?
No worries.. I just hate exaggeration.... We're all fed enough of it by the media and politicans... So I get a bit testy with it... Don't take it personally...
