With all the folks crossing over from Mexico, you'd think Ford would just have some of them drive a few Mavericks up here while on their way!

And then you don't see your truck cause they can sell it to make more money and send it back to Mexico.

My Build was completed by the end of November. So, wonder if this will affect my delivery date of Dec 30th. Does anyone know the Logistics of distribution? At what point and where are the trucks removed from the train and loaded onto trucks for dealership deliveries?

Go to your dealer and ask them for your rail car Number and then use the phone number for CSX in the forum here and call and they will tell you where your rail car is.

Even if the trains are still allowed to enter the US, there are plenty of other reasons your build and delivery will be delayed. My build STARTED week of Nov 13, and to this day it is still apparently not finished being built, even though it is a basic XLT ecoboost. I hope that doesn't happen to your truck, but MANY of us with build weeks 11/13 and on are in similar situations right now. There doesn't seem to be any answer as to what is going on with our trucks or why they are not fully built or, if they were built, why the tracker doesn't show that and they are still sitting at the factory a month later still not shipped. Frustrating.

I live in Nogales and Union Pacific autoracks from Hermosillo are still coming through all the time. A friend's Maverick arrived at Horne Ford in Nogales a few days ago. It went to Phoenix by rail and was trucked back down to Nogales. The time from completed build to delivery was twelve days.

So my 24 Maverick XLT FX4 was scheduled for Dec 11th but went into production Dec 8th, build complete by Dec 17th and has now shipped as of Dec 20th. I live in Ft Worth so should not be to long.

I thought about ordering one a year ago but already had my Bronco Sport so I put ordering one on hold. In November I started checking dealer inventory around me and found most dealers within 100 miles of me (25+) had the hybrid and/or the ecoboost on their lots or already shipped at MSRP. Found one that had been shipped that had what I was looking for (4K tow) and bought it. Was expected in two or three weeks and It came in an hour after I left the dealer. I got lucky I guess because I looked today and some local dealers are starting to mark what they have up over MSRP again. Just remember to keep checking dealer stock around you while you wait also.

Who really knows but the limbo is not fun. Mine has been in production since 11/26, did receive an email saying they are having supply chain problems. So waiting a long time, not as long as some, but a long time. Fingers crossed you get yours soon!

same here. waiting a long time (23 rollover). 3 weeks to build and almost a week since built and has not ship yet. the whole process as been very slow and painful. no sure I would do it again.

damn that sucks! they are telling me its not going to be built until jan 9th and it has been confirmed by my dealer that it is already built, so confusing
