I was curious about this. I have one expected in march. I suspect that ecoboost mavericks will see a promotional rate by late summer when the dealer lots start to be well stocked. Unlikely for hybrids.

I placed an order for a 2024 Maverick EB AWD on December 8th. No f'ing way am I going in at 8.99% if it gets here and the rates are still that high.

I assume this is in the states? Our credit unions are usually just as bad of a rate as the dealerships.
Shit, didn't notice the Canada. Haha.

I ordered a Maverick in June and now it’s arriving in a few weeks. Interest rate is 8.99%. Good times 😎
Do you have the paperwork when you ordered it? What was the interest rate then? My dealer honoured my price protection including the interest rate when I picked it up...

Well yeah, I agree. I have in the 800s but interest rates are pretty shit right now.
Same. And as far as I'm concerned, Ford can keep their Maverick when it arrives if that's going to be the interest rate. The absolute "worst" percentage rate I've had to go in at for a car purchase was 3%, and that was having not the best credit at the time back in 2014.

Ford Credit for non promotional financing is never a bargain. Join a credit union. They are flirting with 7%. I have been watching the rates. I believe they will come back down and when they do I plan on refinancing mine for the lower rate. If you are in the Detroit area DFCU is at 6.75% if you have auto pay. Community Federal is at 6.99%.

Being realistic, highly unlikely you're going to see anywhere near 3% when your Mav arrives. Lowest rates right now are mid-high 5% with excellent credit, it's not just a Ford Credit thing. If getting a loan at over 3% right now bothers you, I'd plan on paying cash then if you want your Mav.

Mine is due in around March ( Feb build date) so hoping rates drop a bit by then or drop within the next year so I can refi.
