By the way, how are you attaching it? Some wire or zap straps?

Never heard zap straps before. Zip ties is what I've known them as.

Yeah, I've heard just about all of them used interchangeably. The package I just found in my desk calls them 'multi-purpose ties'.

How are the lights powered?

Battery pack look closely at the bottom center. I thought about putting some lights around the bed and plugging into the Ac outlet
