Selling one of my Mavericks... any advice?

I bought 5 of them - 3 Hybrids and 2 Ecoboosts. Selling one of the Ecoboosts.. Have it listed on Craigslist and Offerup.... any suggestions where else to list it?

It's a 2023 XLT, lots of upgrades, Black Package, Tow Package, perfect condition, 4,000 miles. Live in Central California / Modesto. Asking 35K

Timing has alot to do with selling a vehicle. We are going into the holiday season and people's minds are elsewhere. So prepare to wait. Also your market - to my [native Californian] mind, the Central Valley is "big truck" country. A combination of higher interest rates, people selling off Mav's so the market is not as tight and the fact that a new 2024 can be ordered all affect the market place. That said, price it right and it will sell. Price it under what Vroom, Carvana, Carmax want for similar vehicles. My two cents.

Easy transaction, no bs people to deal with, etc..

I sold one of my Maverick’s to carmax. Quick and easy. 23 Lariat hybrid 15 k miles without adaptive cruise . For $32,000 with minor damage on front bumper from flying debris.

You are somewhat right... the Valley is kind of a "Big Truck" area (I have 5 myself - But the Maverick is "big" in some ways - 4k towing capacity is quite good for most people. Better gas mileage is a bigger deal as gas prices go up (anyone want a 2008 F-250 Diesel? LOL). But, yes, it's "small" to the big-truck guys

Trying to pin the right price is tough, but I priced it according to what I thought it should be. Went to Carmax yesterday, but they only offered me $29,000. I got one hit so far on my Craigslist ad, but they wanted to know if I would take 30k. I think that is way too low, a "fire sale". But I just can't know what the market is right now. As you said... interest rates, the advent of the 2024, and other factors will dictate the market to a degree.

I know a guy who sold his to a Ford dealer for well over sticker. Never hurts to ask.

As someone waiting for one it seems priced to high. My business partner just bought a very similar truck for 33 new.
I’d have to assume your asking sticker or above sticker.

Nothin wrong with that if the goal was indeed to make some money off them. If that’s the case then by all means I would stay at 35 cause some one may actually really want it and as low as the monthly pay fits them they may buy it.

Good thought, but I already went that route. I thought that sin I became a good customer over the Pandemic I might have a little edge: Demand has decreased, and production / Supply has somewhat leveled out, so dealers aren't in such a crazy crunch to get cars right now.

I paid just under 37k for this one - not trying to make money, but would like to come out somewhat even if possible.

Not too sure about Auto Trader??? I haven't even looked at that since before it went digital ... I'll check it out.
