When you want winter floor mats for your new Maverick XLT and remember you still have a new set for the Bronco Sport you traded in...
They fit like a glove. Even the buttons are in the right place. The rear seat hump cover didn't fit so I cut it off.

What are "winter" floor mats?
They can be used all year round but I call them my winter mats because they have an edge all the way around so dirt, mud, salt, or when snow melts the crap can't run off the edges into the floor/carpet underneath. Flat mats are worthless in the Winter. I normally have two sets and swap them out because the Winter ones get all the crap and look worse. This was my second set I got for my Bronco Sport I never got around to using.

Flat mats are always worthless. We get mud & dirt year-round! And every now & then, we get snow, too. But I try to stay home then. ;)

In my last few vehicles I only purchase all-weather floor trays and use them 365. The $135 trays for the Mav are excellent. A week or three ago there was a post here comparing 2 after market and the Ford trays. The poster concluded the ones by Ford for the Mav were the preferred choice.

I do not like how the OEM mats don't provide enough coverage near part of the accelerator area.

Talking to a fellow Maverick owner the other day who bought his Maverick same day as me, two months ago. I installed my all weather Husky floor mats from Real Truck same day I brought it home. He is still using the carpeted ones and they look absolutely trashed like he has had the truck for 5 years now. Wait until this winter when the carpeting gets saturated with salt and brine slush this winter and floor boards start to rot. I would never own a vehicle without Husky or similar mats, especially up here.

I saw the Weathertechs for the Bronco Sport and they cover up under the pedals better. Their Maverick mats might be the same.

Agreed - the only negative on the Ford trays is the driver's side doesn't go up high enough to cover the area under the accelerator pedal. But they do cover the hump in the rear seat whereas some others don't. Trade off I guess.
