So I'm looking at the Maverick section as mine is scheduled the week of 12/4 (XLT)...What does this all mean?

It means another swing and a miss for me. If you are already scheduled you are A-ok

Nothing. If you have a build date this does not apply to you.

Next big scheduling for January should be next week for anyone not scheduled.

A little surprised they are doing clean-up, but they are pretty much scheduled out through the end of the calendar year. So, I can understand why they are waiting.

This should make me feel better but im stressing because when I ordered i thought I would have more than 2 months before I went into production instead of next week! I might have to forfeit this order and put another in. My aim was February minimum. It sounds so silly but I had a plan and this sudden upsurge of building is messing with my flow! :ROFLMAO:

thanks for the GREAT info..... does the Hybrid production being labeled 'exhausted' refer to that weeks production or is that a model yr estimate?

I think people not familiar with this report get stressed out about it without knowing some of the details.

From what I understand, "Clean-up" scheduling is the factories trying to fill the open holes in their schedule (in this case 12/4-12/25) so they do not have any time in the schedule where they are not making anything. This is strictly something the factory needs to figure out in order to plug the holes in the build schedule. The availability (Limited or Exhausted) is telling them they do have limited or no parts to build with.

For the latest report,
  • No eCVTs means they cannot fill in with any Hybrids
  • The 17" wheel shortage means they cannot build base XLTs (but they can build XLTs with BAP as those use different wheels)
  • They cannot build any order with the mudflaps (this has been a constraint for like 2 years now)
If an item is Limited Availability (nothing on Maverick this time around), the factory might schedule something to build but they need to be more careful and make sure they have the part first before scheduling it.

This does not affect anything that has been scheduled, but if yours has not and does not have any of the above constrained items, it might get scheduled during this time period.

I picked this up by reading lots of the threads on production here and listening carefully to some of the stuff put out here by @fordvideoguy He provides a wealth of information and tries to carefully explain these kinds of Ford reports so we can better understand what we are seeing.

I think I'm pretty close here and hope this is helpful.

Good luck to everyone, especially the rollover orders! I can't understand those that just ordered complaining because they think they will get their truck too fast. Excuse me, but with 413 days and counting, I am getting tired of the wait. Come on Ford, it's time for action!!!!!!

When I put in my order in July, some dealers where saying up to 3 year wait. So you are getting close to half way point.
Ford has the worst order and allocation systems. My guess is they are running decades old COBOL systems. It was state of the art in the 60's. Anyone want to confirm?

I just celebrated my two year anniversary of ordering my Maverick. Still unscheduled and still waiting. Been rolled over twice... Sigh...
I find it quite the statement (or lack thereof) that the official Ford account for this site only comments congratulating delivery or occasionally on a warranty issue. I haven't seen a single post where they address the scheduling system. I guess they consider the recurring 45 day "supply chain" email sufficient to keep customers waiting for years.
