As far as I know it's always been an option of the local manager. If he has one or more sets already he won't be interested. Try different store.
Unfortunately, we only have the one local store. The next one is probably 2 1/2 hours from me with no current plans to go that way, so I will have to deal with these “may pops” in the meantime.

On the plus side, they are summer-only tires. Living in Northern MInnesota, I run dedicated snow tires half the year on all our vehicles. I have a set of Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5’s on order woohoo!

Sadly no, small town and all. I may try to push through keeping and using the Continentals (unless I start getting punctures like others reported). Or, I may also just sell them sooner rather than later!

Well I have OEM Michelin Primacy on my Maverick lariat and looks like I will get 28-30k miles of their 45k projected life. I have in the past had Continental contacts of one variety or other and they have given satisfactory service. Purchased Discount certificates on them and when replacing Discount prorates unused treadwear down to 3/32". Continental just came out with
CONTINENTAL
TRUECONTACT TOUR

Item #36721
BEST
$179.00 /ea. And with $110 off a set of four.which makes them about $80 per tire less than M Defender 2. Very tempting. Particularly with Discounts Certificates.
