Tailgate Lettering Choices - opinions?

Greetings all. Looking at adding the tailgate letters to an incoming 2024 Lariat Hybrid in Terrain. Would appreciate any suggestions on what color you think would look good with this color. Was thinking matte or shiny black would look nice but open to other suggestions. Also a good source for the best lettering would be appreciated.

I was going to add tailgate lettering, but while waiting on my order, I changed my mind when I saw a truck (not a maverick) with lettering that was peeling of from the sun/heat.
If you are in Texas and plan to keep your truck any length of time, this could be an issue later on.

I really like that color. I would go with either matte black or charcoal.

I would offer though that the reflective black letters never ever actually look black. there is always enough light to make them look some shade of grey. I love my reflective black letters and would buy them again in a nano heartbeat, but they aren't black.

I just ordered Matt black to go on my cyber orange. If I’d known there was a reflective black I would’ve ordered that.

Fair point, Here are a couple more pictures. Everything depends on the lighting. The letters never look black.

The only thing red on mine to bring out would be the tail lights.

Are you getting the factory fender flares? Or are you getting them from somewhere else?
