Anyone get a rock-bottom price?

Ford shows the base price of an XL Hybrid at $19,995 and made a big deal of the sub-$20K price. Add what seems to be the mandatory Destination and Delivery fee of $1,495 and you get a total of $21,490. Has anyone been able to get a Maverick near that? The lowest I seem to see local dealers offering is at least $25k for a base XL and many are over $30K. So much for that sub $20k teaser.

You could get it for $20,306 + fuel charge and 394 doc fee from the Philly 4% under invoice dealers while they had the offer going.

Yeah I did from Ed Simpson at Chapman. His store is still doing the four percent under invoice and taking hybrid orders.

Since dealers can't stock order the Hybrid you aren't going to see any MSRP below the $22,575 for a no-option XL 2.0L FWD on the lots. A whole 3 in that config near me otherwise most are (unsurprisingly) at least the AWD and often with Co-Pilot.

Don’t quote me but I think they both are doing 4% now even retroactively on orders only

Any source for this? My order is relatively new.. but I'd swap it to Ed for 4% under.. the less the better. I just don't want to get canceled in the process.

Tom poster a month ago that they stopped the four percent and stopped taking hybrid orders.

Ed is still Taking four percent under invoice and taking both hybrid and 2.0

You would have to email Ed and do a new order. [email protected]

Also tom did state anyone who ordered while the promo was going on will still get the four percent on delivery of the truck

I did not order during the 4% promotion at Horsham, but I did get 3%. I'd re-order from Ed (cause I'm in no hurry), but I do have concerns that it being the same Chapman auto group that it would raise a red flag.

Its the same Chapman auto group just two different stores. I ordered through Ed and I know a bunch that have had. No problems. Email him and tell him the situation

I somehow missed that post from Tom; can you tell me the message number or provide a link/date? I did know there was a problem apparently with some person/persons objecting to paying a return shipping fee if they refused delivery from a drop shipper. But somehow I thought that was kind of "fixed"; with my understanding being that if I make a deposit equal to the return shipping fee and refused delivery the shipping fee would be forfeited. Otherwise it would apply to my down payment. Am I totally out in left field here???
