THIS is why modern science has given up searching for intelligent life on earth and is concentrating on outer space!!!

I would never do that, I am not remotely celebrity obsessed. But, since you used his name specifically a cool story I have is that my ex boss bought a Pitts acrobatic plane from Tom Cruise. He didn't actually know it was from Tom, because he has someone that handles his hanger and aircraft. But he knew once he got to the hanger and then Tom came out and watched him fly off in it.Typically it is the glove box, but is there another panel (maybe removeable) than can be autographed with a sharpie and look good?
Has anybody taken apart the dash or other interior panels that has any input? I don't have my Mav yet so I can't look myself.
If you were buying a Mav from a celebrity that you liked would you have them sign it? Something like George Costanza buying John Voight's LeBaron.
Who said it was Hollywood? Could be Jay Leno or car related or a musician or Ford related or Cheryl Tiegs. Just curious, it's not like I'd have a Kardashian sign the dashboard or anything, was just thinking it would be fun to call it the signature edition. Eddie Bauer signs his cars and nobody knows who the heck he is, ha ha.Inside the catalytic converter! Why would you deface a beautiful truck. Hollywood puts their pants on the same as everyone else! The only difference is the size of their egos!
Were they able to sign it on the car or did you take it off for them? Very cool, I got to meet Foose getting on a plane recently, very nice guy. This might be the winning place to sign if they will sign it. I like how it is a hidden spot and you can take it off if you had to sell the car.Interesting topic to say the least. But since this is something I've delved into with my 2006 Mustang GT, I can add, the best place to sign a car, is the sun visor. Specifically the cover over the mirror (does the Maverick have a cover over the mirror, I never checked). Here are the 5 signatures I have amassed on my GT since I have owned it (bought it new and actually ordered it myself in the computer when I was working in sales at the Ford dealership I worked at all the years).

The 3 are on the driver's side. Top, Camilo Pardo, the 2005 Ford GT designer, middle, Hau Thai Tang, who was the head engineer for the 2005 Mustang including design and all aspects of the car, but eventually moved way up and retired as Chief Platform officer and last is Troy Trepanier, a custom car builder "Rad Rides by Troy". Very well known Riddler award winner
The 2 on the passenger side should be easily identifiable. Jack Roush & Carroll Shelby. And yes, they both are realI left the spot on top open for one last signature, whenever I can get it. Chip Foose. I have his signature on a print of his, but I want him to sign my car.
But I chose this spot, as it keeps the signature from getting faded and IF I were to ever sell the car (or it got totalled) I could easily get a star bit driver and remove them.![]()
