Almost one year, and one big problem -- that gap.

You need a garage, my friend. Or a carport. I had my last truck 24 years, in part due to storing it out of the weather. Garages can be expensive, but carports can be had for less than $1500. Your Mav will thank you 😬
I dunno that I would trust a $1500 "carport" under snow loads.

Had one of those portable garages for many years. Even replaced the "canvas" once. Last year the damn thing blew away. No warning that the six anchors failed. Luckily I did not have my car in there and that the tree line behind it caught it. So no damage.

Well how about at $3800 carport at Maui lumber prices(if you dont know, you dont wanna know).

There is a Java Plum tree behind the camera. It drops berries that are basically acid glue. Not too good for the finish.

Carports almost work. The wind does a pretty good job of putting leaves where you don’t want them. I guess it depends on the amount of trees in the proximity.
